MYM Taizé Prayer Evening

Monday Night / ((Laneway Cricket + Chill) x (Cooking + (Chill x 2))) + Prayer = MYM Taizé Evening

For centuries, Marists have been trying to formulate the correct formula for young Marists to gather...and we believe that this particular formulated formula is pretty much spot on! #thatsalotofformula

Whether you're a Taizé veteran or want to experience Taizé for the first time, this event is the perfect opportunity to stop for a moment and spend some time with friends in prayer.

Taizé is a style of prayer through music that began in a town in France of the same name. Based around some simple chant like songs, Taizé is a way of being together, in prayer, and gives us a opportunity to take some time out in our busy lives.

Optional laneway cricket at 5:30pm, Taizé at 6:30pm followed by a delicious light meal, and an obligatory post match lemonade is a likely scenario!

Want to help out with music or cooking? Let us know. Bring a mate too if you're keen.

RSVP via facebook by September 15 for catering purposes, if you have any dietary requirements please let us know.

Secure parking is available via Michael Street.
